Cartoon Catalogue Review: Les Misèrable

This movie is about a recently paroled slave Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman: Wolverine, and X-men movies),who was caught stealing bread for his dead sister's son, and now walk the through France mark as a "dangerous man". Back in the day of the French Revolution being marked as a "dangerous man" means that no will treat you like a human being or give you mercy. Until he met a bishop who showed him kindness and changes his life. Eight Year later Jean Valjean is now wealthy man after discarding his identity and things seem fine until he met his former worker Fantine (Anne Hathaway) and her daughter Cosette (Young: Isabelle Allen, Older: Amanda Seyfried). After Officer Javert (Russell Crowe), the very man who arrested him, found out about him and begin a life long chase between them. The many themes in this movie is mostly about running from his past,  love between a father and your true love, freedom from slavery, and overcoming many conflict they face. After nine year from the time before, The climactic scene where the pro-revolutionist face-off against the massive French army, but I can't spoil the ending. I tell you this the ending is the greatest scene ever in the movie yet.
The setting is the French Revolution when France wanted freedom from the monarchy and the feudal system. For information take this link (http://www.history.com/topics/french-revolution)
A lovely vary of actor and their singing. Who knew that Hugh Jackman could sing? Some scene that would make a tough cry at the end, but I can't tell you that you have to watch the movie. It deserve an Oscar, but being nominated is as "Best Picture" is the greatest achievement in life.
The songs in this story are fantastic and catch enough to sing along or inspired other to sing.
Hugh Jackman and Anne Hatchway do some pretty tough thing to fit their profile. Hatchaway had to lose some weight and had to actually cut her hair during the movie to fit the profile of Fantine. Jackman exorcise and lose weight to fit the part if Jean Valjean.
The first time I saw it on the commercial I thought it was too dramatic for, but after hearing it from other and seeing the sample  performance in the "Oscar" I thought it's interesting. When I watch it, I was sad and mad with the treatment and death of Fantine, the treatment of Jean Valjean, the innkeepers' treatment of Cosette, and the death of the revolutionist too. At the end of Les Misérable, that scene made me cried. So I suggest watch the 7 academy award nominated movie.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟  5 stars
